May 2017 Las Cruces Market Report

May 2017 saw 204 homes sell. That is up from May 2016 when 181 homes sold. That’s an increase of 13 percent. The average home sales price was $206,022 which is up considerably a year ago at $172,744. As far as list to sales price, which is the amount that sellers get from their asking price, that was 97%. The median days on market was 43 days.  You may ask where are most of the homes selling? Las Colinas leads the way this month with 26 homes sold. Las Colinas is the area North of Highway 70, off of Sonoma Ranch. Sonoma East came in second with 21 homes sold. Sonoma East is east of Sonoma Ranch Blvd and South of Highway 70. I always get asked where the most expensive sold home was and for this month, that was in Las Alturas for $820,000.
