Las Cruces Real Estate | Throwback Thursday - San Miguel Church

If you have ever been to our state’s capital city, then you may have noticed the beautifully preserved architecture and the rich culture of the city of Santa Fe. But did you know that our capital is home to the oldest church built in the United States? The San Miguel Church was built by Spanish settlers in 1610. The building has been rebuilt and renovated several times since it’s original construction. At this point, it is hard to tell how much of the church is part of the original building. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful and historic spot you should most definitely check out on your next trip to Santa Fe.
