Las Cruces Real Estate | Throwback Thursday - Railroad

As Las Cruces began to grow in the early days of its founding, they began building a railroad that ran North and South through the town. They began this process in 1969 but did not complete it until 1880. The first train ran through Las Cruces in April of 1981. This greatly enhanced the production of the area and encouraged growth of our city. The railroad offered the transportation of crucial building materials that made it possible to continue the urbanization of Las Cruces.
