Archeologists believe that humans have been in North America between 13,500 and 16,000 years however, the discovery of human prints in the white sands area in 2021 which date back 23,000 years prove that the earliest indigenous people actually arrived in North America as far back as 23,000 years ago. This is now the oldest known existence of humans in North America and it was discovered in our backyard of White Sands!
