Did you know that more than 45% of New Mexico is publicly owned? That means that all of us as residents of the United States own this land. What this means is simply that it’s our land to hike, fish, camp and visit. We encourage you this summer to go out and find some public land and do something fun for yourself and also safe for our land. Find a new hiking trail, find a fishing hole, do something on your public land. Or if you already do this, let us know in the comments some great places that you recommend.
