Did you know that Las Cruces has 2 sister cities? One is in Germany and the city is named Nienburg. This small gorgeous town is covered in charming cobblestone streets and is known for growing asparagus of all things. Each year, they have a festival where they crown an Asparagus Queen in german dialect they crown a “Spargelkönigin”.
