One thing we keep hearing from some people in real estate is “marry the house, date the rate” and this statement is something we completely disagree with. Taking a chance and hoping the interest rates will go back down is risky. No one can guarantee that they will go back down and that it will happen soon. So we suggest that you buy a house when the timing is right and that you buy a house that you can afford.
