Now that the weather is warm and the river is full, lots of locals like to float the Rio Grande on the weekends. All you need are a few vehicles, a few innertubes and you’re ready for a fun weekend adventure. Many people will park a car at an ending site and then drive north up the river and plan to float for a few hours. You can take snacks, and music and enjoy a relaxing float with friends and family. If you decide to take part in this fun tradition, make sure to be safe and have fun!
