2018 Luxury Homes Market Report

One of the telling factors of a successful 2018 is definitely the luxury homes market, which we define as homes that sell for over $400,000. The number of homes sold has almost tripled since 2016. There were 42 luxury homes sold in 2016, 76 homes sold in 2017 and 115 homes sold in 2018. These range all the way up to 1.25 million dollars. The luxury market makes up 14% of the overall sales volume for all of 2018 but only 5% of the number of homes sold.

You can find luxury homes in communities like Mesilla, Las Alturas and Picacho Hills. Some of the unique features we saw in the luxury homes that sold include wine cellars, home theaters, indoor pools and of course, the gorgeous views.
